Pinewood Derby

Unfortunately Luckily the very next day after Caiden turned 8 was the Pinewood Derby.  He was SO excited and could hardly wait!  He didn't end up getting his car until just a few days before so they didn't have much time to get it ready.  They still had fun and are already thinking of some fun ideas for next year.

8 is Great!!

I can't believe we have an 8 year old!  

He had such a good birthday this year.  Rich and I took him to lunch at Burger King (his choice) and then the girls and I took doughnuts and chocolate milk into his school class.  When he came home from school he rode bikes for a little while and then chose Cracker Barrel for dinner.  Afterwards, we came home and had a doughnut cake.  

Talking on the phone to Aunt Meme and Uncle Jon...I think all the sugar was finally getting to him.

On Friday he had a Birthday Party at the Bowling Alley.  All the kids had a blast!

 Yep, you guessed it!  More doughnuts!!  I think this will be a tradition now instead of cake!
