Birthday Boy

We headed down to Phoenix Friday and took the kids to "Makutus Island." We had such a fun time, the kids loved it! (Sorry for the picture overload!!)

Saturday we all went to "Fiddlesticks" which is what #1 had been begging and begging to do.
Sage, Myia, and Caiden on the rollercoaster

#2 and Dad on the rollercoaster

#3 and Uncle Derek

Caiden, Dad, Sage, and Grandpa Chewy

After presents we went to "Organ Stop Pizza" for dinner. Lani (my cousin), Cody and Emily (our friends), Marie (Ed's granddaughter), and Jon (Keli's boyfriend) met us there. A guy plays a huge organ, along with other instruments and puppets while you eat. It's pretty amazing that he can do it all with the pedals of the organ.

Happy Birthday Buddy!! It's hard to believe you are already 5 years old! You make me smile every single day and I love you more than anything. We are so proud of you and are glad you are a part of this family!

"A little old town in the middle of no where, W-I-L-H-O-I-T, Wilhoit..."

"...nah,nah,nah,nah!"
Rich had to do a demonstration for one of his customers so we headed down to spend the weekend at his parent's house. Unfortunately they were out of town so we didn't even get to spend time with them. Since none of Rich's family was there he invited my brother and sister to come hang out with us. We had so much fun and enjoyed the warm weather. We went for jeep rides, made smores in the fire pit, BBQ'd steaks for dinner, played dunk ball, and just hung out. We met Keli's boyfriend Jon, for the first time and we all really like him. Thanks for letting us use your house Fuzz and Noma!!

Rich's demonstration was for a flight club so #1 and Derek went with him to look at all the planes. They were supposed to have some RC planes flying around but unfortunately it was too windy so they couldn't do it.

Spring Break Week

Spring Break isn't really anything different for us yet, but we decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and play outside lots during the week. We went to the park with my mom and brother to fly a kite and play on the toys, played in the backyard a ton, and went for motorcycle rides on "Big Red" as #1 calls it. #1 and #2couldn't get enough rides and #3 wasn't too sure about the whole thing.

Alissa, we are so proud of your decision to be baptized. You are such a sweet girl and we love you!! Thanks David and Amy for a fun weekend and for sharing your room with us!

We decided we hadn't spent enough time in the car for one weekend so we drove back home Sunday, gave the kids a two hour break, and I loaded them back up in the car (along with my parents) and we headed to Mesa. We stopped in to see our favorite Fireman to break up the trip a little and he gave us a ride in the fire truck with lights on and everything. The kids were shaking they were so scared in the beginning but they warmed up as we went and ended up loving it. They left with necklaces, coloring books, and stickers.

We stayed with my Aunt Deanna and Uncle Edward so we could attend a funeral for a family friend Monday morning. It was such a nice service and it was great to see my friend Kathy, who I had not seen in about 8 years. Afterwards we went shopping and then back to Edward and Deanna's to let the kids play before putting them in the car again. Thanks for letting us stay with you guys, we always have fun when we come!!
