First Day of Preschool

All ready to go and they could hardly wait.  I can't blame them because they have such a fun group of girls this year.

Road Trip Weekend

We were able to attend the sealing of Chad and Becky at the Snowflake Temple on Saturday.  It was fun spending time with family, although it was only a few minutes inside the temple and a few minutes outside, it was better than nothing!  Congrats Chad and Becky, we couldn't be happier for you!!

We figured we hadn't done enough driving yet so we drove to Payson and had lunch with Barb and Jack, and then continued on our way to Mesa.  My Aunt and Uncle were giving their farewell talks in church on Sunday before they head on their mission to Jacksonville, Mississippi and we wanted to be there to hear them.  We had lots of family there and had a great time but I didn't take a single picture!  Deanna and Ed we wish you lots of luck and will see you in a year when you get back!

Camping

We decided to take one more camping trip before the summer is officially over.  We found the perfect spot, had perfect weather, and had a great time.  Unfortunately I only took pictures of the never ending whiffle ball game that was constantly being played and nothing else.

On the last night the kids wanted to do a dance around the campfire so they practiced on their own for a few minutes and then announced they were "Team Awesome"

First Day of School

I can't believe we are starting school already!  Blah!  The summer went too fast!
I sure love this little guy and will miss having him home.  He cried all night and just wanted to be held and woke up crying again because he said he would miss me.  He is so sweet.

He is excited to be a big second grader and I hope this year is a good one for him.

Go Diamondbacks!!

I drove down to Keli's house with my kids and parents on Friday night.  We got up Saturday and of course went shopping at some home decor stores.  Then Saturday night we met Rich after he got off work and went to a D-backs game.  It was so much fun!  Our seats were awesome and the D-backs beat the NY Mets!

Uncle Jon hooked Caiden up with a D-Backs rally visor, which he LOVED!

Three-Four

Rich turned the BIG "34" this year!  He worked during the day so we met up with him for lunch.  When he came home we were supposed to go to the lake, of course, but it didn't end up working out.  Instead we surprised him with dinner at his favorite restaurant, Sakura.  We blindfolded him and tried to trick him but he can't be fooled.

Poor Kortlin was so scared that she cried the whole time they were cooking our food.  Caiden and Kelsi loved it though.

Afterwards, we came home and had cake and key lime pie.  The wife of Rich's friend made him this huge delicious cake.  It was so thoughtful of her!

Happy Birthday Rich!  Thank you so much for all that you do for our family!  We LOVE you!!
