Winter Dance Recital

All three kids have been taking dance this semester.  Their teacher had a recital/party for them where they performed their dances they are working on and then she had games and contests to play and win prizes afterwards.  Caiden won the "Creative Walks" dance and was really excited.

Kelsi was so scared that she started crying and came and sat on my lap.  She got Kortlin all upset and then they were both on my lap in tears.  When it was their turn to perform their teacher stopped the program and came to get them.  She talked Kortlin into going up to perform and we are SO proud of her.  She ran up in front of everyone and joined in the dance.  She was pretty proud of herself afterwards too!

Watch for the kid Caiden trips during the coffee grinder!  HAHA...Oops!!

Kinsey's Special Day

It was a great day!  Up until Saturday night we were still not sure whether to have the blessing or not.  It had been snowing since Thursday and the roads were really bad.  We finally decided to just go ahead with it.  We wished more family could have been here but were grateful for the family and friends that we did have!

Since we were originally expecting about 50 people we decided to have a brunch at the seminary after sacrament.

Thanks to everyone that shared this special day with us!

Visitors

My Parents and Derek came up to the hospital every day we were there.  Jon and Keli came up for the weekend to help take care of the kids and of course to see Kinsey.

Rich's parents came up also and they were able to spend a few days and help us out around the house.  Becky and Sommer Weathersby also came up to the hospital and brought us pizza (which was SOOO appreciated since they were making me starve at the hospital) but I completely forgot to get my camera out, and Chad and Becky and the kids came by a few days later and I forgot the camera AGAIN. 8(

Just a few more pictures of these girls...they can't get enough of their new sister.

She's Here!

This morning we dropped the kids off at my parents house and headed over to the hospital.

They hooked me up to an IV and we waited, and waited, and waited...

Finally around noon they came and got us and took me into the Operating Room and a few minutes later she was here!

Kinsey Ella

We finally remembered to get a picture of my Dr. that delivered all 4 of our kids.

1 older brother and 2 older sisters who were SO excited to meet her and couldn't stop smiling when they were able to hold her.

We are all SO in love with her!

It's about time!

I never thought I would see the day that my sister and I would be pregnant at the same time!  I am SO excited to finally have a niece or nephew on the Day side, especially the same age as one of our kids!

Keli - about 9 weeks
Me - 8 days left! woohoo!

Happy Birthday Uncle Deek!

We went to Jon and Keli's house for the weekend to celebrate Derek's Birthday and make one last shopping trip before the baby comes.  We went to Rawhide for dinner Saturday night and watched the show afterwards.

Of course we had to let the waitress know it was Derek's birthday so everyone could sing to him.  They brought him a little thing to make smores which was actually really cool.

I thought the kids knew there was a gun fight during the show, but they didn't and it caught them a little off guard.  They were terrified of the whole place afterwards.

The best entertainment of the whole weekend was when Rich, Derek, and Jon all decided to try the mechanical bull.  It was probably the funnest thing I have ever seen.

Happy Birthday Derek!  We love you!

Also, thanks Keli and Jon for another fun weekend!
