#3 - Has croup and hasn't been feeling good for the last few days. Some funny things she says lately that I don't want to forget: "Hold you", and "Thank you ma'am" when I give her something, "puter" (computer), and "muppins" (muffins). She also cracks me up when she sings "Three Blind Mice" because her version is "Three Mind Bice." Her favorite foods are yogurt, chips dipped into "Nephi beans" (refried beans), and milk with "cream" which is Carnation Instant Breakfast.
#2 - Is right behind #3 with getting Croup. She also says "Hold you" when she wants to be held, "Thank you ma'am", "Slug bug boo!" (blue)for every car we pass, and she will hide under a blanket and yell "Where's me at?", "Wuz is thiz?" and "Mommy at?" (Daddy at, Grandma at, basically whoever is gone) She loves the same foods as #3 but also loves grapes, blueberries, and "chips" (chocolate chips.)
#1 - Is really starting to enjoy school now. This is a message written to my sister on facebook from a friend that is an aide at his school.
"The first week of school he was crying while eating his PB&J and I asked him what was wrong, he said 'I just miss my mom!' So I told him that the day was almost over and he was such a big boy etc. He replied 'Yeah but I miss my mom so much. I shouldn't have signed up for this!' He said he shouldn't have signed up for this about six times. It was so sad I almost cried. But now I think it is so cute, I have to tell that story to everyone. Now he asks me where his mom is all the time because she is coming to eat with him on Thursday, so we have been counting down the days together. He is SO cute!!"
Thankfully he is getting used to it now so his days are not so bad anymore. He has this winking thing that he does to everyone and at parent/teacher conference his teacher said that is her favorite thing about him. Also in school, when they are good they get to pick something out of the treat box. He is always thinking of others and picks out things his sisters would like, or something for Rich and I. He has been doing a music class called "Red Balloon" one day a week after school for the last 4 weeks and has loved it and learned so much already. He has also started playing basketball again and can't get enough of the sport.
I have been having fun spending time with just the girls while #1 is gone during the day. I stay busy with Activity Days and just recently was called to also teach singing time in the Nursery.
Rich is busy working, working, and working. He would love to slip a few more trips into the lake before it gets cold but I am not sure it's going to happen. He just finished rebuilding a 67 Ford F100. He worked on it once a week when he would go to his parents house and it took him about a year and a half to finish it. He was called to be the 1st Counselor in the EQ Presidency on Sunday and is really excited about it. The kids and I made him this poster and my parents brought over the candy tree for him today.

Oh and if you can't tell she is the little one on the right. The lady on the left is from her ward, they had to dress up and hide out at the mall from the youth in their ward while they played “Where’s Waldo?”... Or maybe a more fitting name for them would have been "Where's The Thugs?"
